The Birth of a Website

Introduction:

Among the many things I’ve had to learn while building the Primepath RPG system, figuring out how to use WordPress has been an unexpected (and occasionally frustrating) challenge. I’ve dabbled in web design before, and I’m still not entirely convinced that using WordPress is easier than writing HTML and CSS by hand! That said, the site is now live – and this is where it all begins.

The basics

The main part of this site will be the publishing part, look for updates, downloads (once I’ve worked out how) and subscribe to our email list for up to date information. Also keep an eye out for blogs on topical RPG issues and ideas for all your adventures.

The Worlds and Settings

I intend to build a subdomain/sub website for each setting that the Primepath system uses. This will allow you to get straight to the relevant information for the worlds you are playing in.

The main Avalaf site will always be your central hub for the Primepath RPG system itself. Here, you’ll find:

VTT options

If you’re looking to play online, Primepath is currently available on the Questline VTT – a fantastic, community-friendly virtual tabletop platform that supports the unique mechanics of the system. Give it a try and let me know what you think!

Aspirations

In time, I hope to open this space to other creators – a place where designers can showcase their own settings, systems, and stories built with Primepath.

I’ll be posting regular updates here on all the projects in progress, as well as sharing new artwork as it arrives. I’m incredibly excited to be working with a very talented artist on the core rulebook, and I’ll be revealing more about their work soon…
