Like many GMs and players, I’ve spent years exploring and enjoying a wide range of RPG systems. I’ve enjoyed most of them, whether it be the tactical depth of one or the narrative fluidity of another, but none of them ever hit the perfect balance I was looking for. Some were too crunchy to flow easily at the table. Others were so loose that they couldn’t support meaningful world-building or homebrew content. I wanted a system that could do both: be simple enough to teach in minutes, but robust enough to grow with the story and to let me build the worlds I’d always imagined. Primepath is the result of that search. It’s a system born out of necessity, refined through play, and designed to serve GMs and players who want freedom, clarity, and narrative power at the table.
